Thelonious4 (www.thelonious4.com).
After a studio and a live album Thelonious4 releases a third album with virtuoso vibraphone player Tony Miceli from Philadelphia, USA. The CD is on Dot Time Recordlabel (dottimerecords.com). The CD offers fresh, free and inspiring music from Monk with a great line up!
After their show case at Jazzahead 2013 in Bremen (D), they will play the CD release concert at Bethany's Jazzclub (Amsterdam) on June 27.
Like the name suggests, this quartet plays compositions of Thelonious Monk.

Every time I perform with David Friedman I have to pinch myself. He has been an idol of mine since I was in my 20's. We will be performing duo, just us and 2 vibes. (no wood).
